Steve

CEO & Founder

The former Founder & CEO of IdeaWorks, and the Founder of RetailOasis, Steve is one of Australasia’s most highly regarded retail experts - with more than 40+ years of retail experience he’s the “Godfather of Physical Retail”, if you will. With experience from leadership through to operations, he thrives helping individuals and businesses seek opportunities and realise their potential. Steve also sits on several public boards and is the co-founder of tech start-ups Releaseit and Green Friday. In addition to his retail expertise, Steve is a wine wizard - winning many blind tastings and completing his WSET levels 1-3.

Dympna

Finance Manager

Dympna is our Finance Manager here at RetailOasis. She brings to the company many years of experience with global companies across various industries including professional services, training, and manufacturing with both SME and large listed organisations. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a CPA.

Emma

Retail Strategist

Emma is our very own British powerhouse. She has a strong background in fashion, having completed a Fashion degree and starting off her buying career in London working for various fashion brands. She made the move into strategy and insights leaning into her curious nature, and her passion for the ever-evolving retail landscape and consumer trends.

Trent

Director & Head of Strategy

Trent specialises in collaborating with retailers to build strategy using qualitative analysis and business modelling - he’s the master of data here at RetailOasis. He has 3 Master's degrees under his belt - Applied Finance, Management, and an MBA; as well as his CPA. He is passionate about sharing his understanding of data as a means to drive insight and understanding.

Grace

Retail Strategist

Grace began her professional career in the captivating world of fashion where she gained invaluable experience in new and international markets before her trajectory led her to the dynamic realm of start-ups and the tech industry. Grace's passion lies in the ever-changing intricacies of consumer psychology and emerging technologies, fuelling her enthusiasm for staying ahead of the curve.

Elisa

Senior Retail Strategist

Elisa is our multifaceted senior strategist with a rich background across many industries. With a unique blend of strategy and operational expertise, Elisa crafts strategies that are not only forward-thinking but also grounded in practicality. Beyond the corporate arena, Elisa is an Olympian, embodying the relentless pursuit of excellence. Her love for outdoor pursuits and nature not only fuels her athletic endeavours but also sparks a deep passion for sustainability.

Madeline

Director & General Manager

Madeline is one of the founding members of her family’s business, RetailOasis - in fact, she has been there since day 2. She began her career working in and managing physical retail stores and customer service teams, giving her first-hand experience and knowledge of the retail industry. She’s passionate about keeping up to date with the latest and greatest in retail, whether that be new store openings, trends, or insights. During her 15+ years at RetailOasis she has developed a large personal network of international and domestic retailers, through which she organises retail tours, one-on-one meetings with retail executives, and podcast episodes (The Retail Wrap-Up).

Pippa

Director

After starting her career in advertising, being awarded Cannes Young Marketer of the Year in Australia, and being recognised for her work at award shows like Cannes, D&AD and the Effies, she moved into the family business. Curious by nature, her interest lie in consumer psychology and understanding what makes people tick. Outside of RetailOasis she runs successful astrology business, Pippa Kate.
