Wendy's, a US fast food chain, is preparing to enter the Australian market, with plans to open 10 stores in the next year or two. Known for its square-shaped patties and indulgent menu, including the 1160-calorie Dave’s Triple Cheeseburger, Wendy's is aiming to compete with established brands like McDonald's and Hungry Jack’s. Retail analyst Steve Kulmar said, "I suspect not," regarding its chances of success, adding that the chain's initial 10-store rollout seems like a market trial.
