After announcing that they are pulling out of Baku (Azerbaijan) four months after it’s opening, Harvey Nichol’s have continued to invest in their homeland with the refurbishment of their Birmingham store.
The 45,000 sqm department store stocks more than 200 brands across the usual – mens, women, beauty, kids, food etc. What’s really interesting in their big push into services through the store re-opening- something we’re seeing more and more of.
The store offers personal shopping, styling, concierge (who will mind your bags while you shop), a medi-spa (for a bit of Botox), a 360 degree mirror so you can see what you look like from behind in that new outfit, wireless POS stations, and a beautiful restaurant/bar operated by Glynn Purnell – a Michelin-stared chef.
There’s also a secret VIP entrance to add to the mystique of the store.
You can also take a virtual tour of the store here.
